This knowledge base article is a step by step guide to integrating your Web-Based eCW with Accuhealth for automated Patient Referrals, Patient Vitals, and Patient Reports. We want you living in your EMR as much as possible!
Referring Patients to Accuhealth from eCW
Step 1 - Add Accuhealth as a Referring Physician
Navigate to Menu and Select "Referring Physicians / Insurances"
Select the ellipses (...)
Select "Add" from the top right
Complete the Pop Up Form with the following Information and Click "Ok" when done
Step 2 - Refer Patients from eCW
From the Patient Chart within the Patient Hub, select "Referral"
Select "Outgoing" followed by "New" from the top right
Select the ellipses (...)
Search and Select "Accuhealth" from the List
Select Diagnosis Code(s) and Scribe Reason for Referral and "Send Referral" when complete
Please note when sending a referral to "Fax with Attachment."
Accuhealth Automated Upload of Monthly Patient Vitals Reports (Recommended)
Accuhealth strongly recommends integration to allow for the automated upload of monthly patient vitals reports back into your eCW Patient Charts. In preparation, it's encouraged your clinic create a Folder titled "Accuhealth RPM" located in the Patient Docs section.
Accuhealth Automated Upload of Daily Patient Vitals (Optional)
Note - this will create daily encounters which some providers find "noisy,"; however, in order to reduce the noise, we require a provider account be created titled (Accuhealth).
For any readings taken during each day, the vitals can be automatically uploaded into the patients chart as a "New Tel Encounter"
Vitals uploaded can include:
- Blood Pressure (Systolic / Diastolic)
- Heart Rate
- Weight
- Blood Glucose
- SpO2
